ESPGHAN Important Information: 6th WCPGHAN Announcement

Dear ESPGHAN Members,

After careful and thoughtful consideration of the growing health risks worldwide related to COVID-19, it has been decided that the 6th World Congress of PGHAN which was planned for 03 – 06 June 2020 in Copenhagen, Denmark cannot take place this year. This was not an easy decision, but the current crisis makes it impossible to hold such an international event.

The safety and well-being of our attendees, partners and staff as well as the responsibility, which we all share as healthcare professionals towards those in need of our support, remains our guiding principle.

Furthermore, the current travel restrictions in many parts of the world would affect attendance of delegates and speakers. It became obvious that the high scientific quality we strive for was unrealisable on the planned original dates.

Information on the commencement of the congress will be announced in the coming weeks.

We would like to express our appreciation to the thousands of colleagues who have already been involved in our congress and hope we can count on your commitment and support when announcing our future plans shortly.
